Do you want to add engaging multimedia content - such as audio or video clips - to your online course, but not have the time to develop or find these materials on your own?

WebCT's digital content makes it easy for you to add compelling, interactive online material to your online courses. Many e-Packs contain pre-developed components such as video animations, interactive exercises, question databases with varied question types, audio flashcards, and glossaries.

To assist you in finding the right e-Pack for your course goals and needs, we have identified key features most requested by instructors (PDF) when adopting digital content. This guide helps you identify the key features found in many e-Packs and the key teaching and learning principles they support.

How to Search for Key Features
It's easier than ever before to choose the right digital content for your specific course needs! Follow these simple steps to find e-Packs that contain desired key features for your course:

  1. Familiarize yourself with the list of key features, which includes helpful icons and definitions of the most popular e-Pack components.
  2. Search through our list of Frequently Adopted e-Packs by author, title, or key features associated with each e-Pack.
  3. Click on the title of the e-Pack. You will see an application form to request a 30-day evaluation of the digital content. This evaluation will allow you to view the content of the course exactly as a student would see it.
  4. Click Submit. Following approval by the publisher, you will receive instructions by e-mail to evaluate the course for 30 days. This process usually takes 3-4 business days. The evaluation period begins the day you receive the access instructions.
