Your My WebCT Page in Blackboard/WebCT CE 6

The My WebCT tab area is the first screen you see after logging in. The primary function of the My WebCT screen is to provide a single point of access to the courses you are teaching. It's also where you will see messages and resources sent to all Blackboard/WebCT Learning System users at Riverside Community College. Depending on the settings set by Open Campus, you may also see other links for managing your courses and tools. Many of your Blackboard/WebCT CE 6 questions will be answered by viewing the Open Campus tutorials.

The My WebCT screen contains three areas:

  • the channels: the Course List channel provides links to your courses. You may also see other channels, which contain campus, course, or personal information.

  • the My WebCT toolbar: above the channels is a toolbar that contains links to customize the channels, as well as icons to access the Mail and Calendar tools.
  • the logo bar: above the My WebCT toolbar are links to change your settings, check your browser, access online help, and log out of the Blackboard/WebCT Learning System.
